Career points show how well you have played over every round. Each round you finish with a company adds to them, and the career points ranking lists the best players of all time.

How you earn them

Edit

When a round ends, the company you are still running earns:

  • 1 career point for every 1,000 of its final Company Value, and
  • 1 career point for every 30 S-points.

Each part is rounded down to whole points. The two are added together and then to your total.

The final Company Value is the one after the end-of-round settlement, in which your zones, your shares and what is left in your savings are turned into Company Value (Rounds).

Only a company still running when the round ends earns career points. One that went bankrupt, was closed for inactivity or was reset earns none. If you founded a new company afterwards in the same round, that one counts (Company Value and bankruptcy).

Where S-points come from

Edit

S-points (stock points) come from shares:

  • 1 for every £100 of dividends you receive.
  • 1 for every £100 a share has gained since you bought it, when you sell it to another player. Only your first 5 sales each day count.

Selling your own shares, selling to the bank and the sale at the end of the round give none (Trading shares).

The all-time ranking

Edit

Rankings › Career points lists every player who has career points, highest first:

Column What it shows
Rounds How many rounds they finished with a company
From CV Career points earned from Company Value
From S-points Career points earned from S-points
Career points Their total

Players with no company in the round being played are shown in grey. You can sort by name, From CV or From S-points, and show only the players logged on now. The list stays empty until the first round has ended (Rankings and records).

Your own results

Edit
  • Your profile's Results from earlier rounds shows each round's company, C-rank, S-rank and career points.
  • Rankings › Past rounds has Your rounds, with your final Company Value and S-points as well.
  • When a round ends, you get an e-mail with your result and your career points and career rank before and after it, unless you switched Round results e-mails off under Settings.
  • Between rounds, the Start your company page shows how your last round went.
  • Rounds How rounds work: how long they last, when they start and end, joining a round already running, how the winner is decided and what you keep afterwards.
  • Rankings and records The Rankings page, with its tabs for companies, members, career points, weekly awards and past rounds, and the Records page with the top 50 for every record.
